Entry Requirements

The Levy Mwanawasa Medical University is highly selective in its admissions process. All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for entry:

  • Have a minimum of Grade 12 qualification with passes in at least five subjects including English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from referees who can attest to the applicant’s academic and personal abilities.

    For Advanced Diploma holders,

    •  A full Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which must be English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and Science.
    • A relevant certificate or Diploma qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Practicing Certificate from the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) or General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNC).
