National Assembly of Zambia

The National Assembly of Zambia is the legislative branch of the government of Zambia. It is composed of members elected from single-member constituencies and is responsible for making and passing laws.

The National Assembly also has the power to impeach the President and other high-ranking officials and to approve or reject international treaties and agreements. The Speaker of the National Assembly is the head of the assembly and presides over its meetings.
